VIRGINIA BRIGHT LEAF TOBACCO SEEDS AMERICAN HEIRLOOM!
A very light gold leaf when curing, it makes an excellent smoking tobacco. It grows to a height of 6-7 feet tall. The light green leaves are massive from 14" to 18" wide and 24" to 30" long, and turn a light yellow when ripe. The plants produce an average of 18 leaves per plant, with yields averaging 3 oz of dried leaf per plant. Matures in 55 days.  All varieties of Nicotiana tobaccum make beautiful ornamentals namely due to their pronounced trumpet-shaped flowers. Grows Best During Summer in Most Climates. Blending Virginia Bright with Orientals and some Burley creates excellent cigarette. No special Fermentation necessary. Mild enough to smoked after curing.

Bright leaf tobaccos became popular in the early 1800s as demand for milder and more aromatic products arose. Farmers experimented with growing and curing methods for years but the big breakthrough, like many great innovations, occurred by accident. Fires had been used to cure tobacco but it was in about 1839 that someone used charcoal to restart a curing fire. This created a high heat condition which resulted in a bright, yellow cured leaf.
