    Description

    Up for auction is a vintage jig cut wood sign or plaque of a primitive saltwater style fish recently found at auction in lancaster County PA.  It is found in good vintage condition.  Quite dirty, older green paint a bit distressed with cracks, finish losses, paint drips, loss to edges.  Interesting color between eye and mouth on the other side where there seems to be signs of having been mounted.  Nice dry finish.  Unsigned unmarked folk art quality.  Perfect for any sea side or nautical maritime setting.  Pine or similar grained light weight wood.
