Vintage Carp Fish chart, Freshwater fish, Fish Anatomy and Physiology Chart, Map, Wall DecorationVintage lithography zoology school classroom science chart depicting the Carp fish with awesome graphics. The chart is in Czech Language, made in Praque around 1980 by Ph Dr Antonin Altmann and "Komenium, n.p Praha" publishing company. Dr Antonin Altmann (1921-1986) was noted for creating highly detailed anatomical, botanical and zoological models for use in education.
This vintage Czech school chart is simply stunning in every way. Such beautiful colors and typography, everything about this piece is charming. Will make a fantastic large art piece on the wall. The chart is printed on thick paper, fixed on wooden dowels. The map can be easily rolled without additional damage and stored or the hanging twine is perfectly intact for displaying. It's a stunning piece that would make a bold statement in nearly any setting, ideal for studying since it was made for it, but even cooler to show off your home with unique wall hanging decor. A rare item for vintage map collectors or zoology lovers.
These charts were used in schools throughout Europe as the 'graphics only' charts were able to be used in schools no matter what language was spoken.

CONDITION: The overall condition of this chart is very good. This chart has spent most of its life rolled up in a school cupboard so the colours are still bright.
Great care will be taken in packing to ensure safe arrival.
As the maps are genuine vintage maps, most of them will have some signs of wear which only add to its character, however, I will always mention that in the listing.
Vintage items have through their use and their age natural signs of use. So the object is given a beautiful patina that vintage lovers appreciate so much.
