    This is a student training text, entitled "
    Customer Engineering Training",
    published by Data Pathing Incorporated. DPI was marked NCR's first company merger in their entire history (since 1884). Perhaps one of the most important mergers in their entire history, DPI was an important producer of data / factory entry and processing systems. This is when NCR first threw their hat in the ring of both business and personal computers.
    The text itself is in great shale for its age, and really only shows a pretty minimal amount of wear for a 40+ year old paperback student text. This is a first printing (October, 1974) of a detailed description and tutorial for the DPI Kennedy Magnetic Tape Controller. It includes an in-depth tutorial, troubleshooting, diagnostics, pictures, wiring diagrams, glossary, and more.
