You are looking at an old school pull down map, that is 68" X 60" by the maker of Nystrom. 1st layer is of Asia, 2nd layer is of Africa, 3rd Layer is of Middle East.  Nystrom makes maps for the teaching of social studies and to help students understand their world and relationship with others. #52 and #51
All maps that have the title "Pull Down Map" is equipped with an original spring loaded mechanism that works as it should and allows the map to be pulled down and then retracts back up much like a roller shade window blind. If the map has the title description "Cloth Map" it will come equipped with a wooden dowel at the bottom and top of the map and does not retract because it is not equipped with a spring loaded mechanism.
