Our Gang Very Rare Early Original Signed Letter Spanky c. 1941 w/Original Photo

Here is an extremely rare very early vintage original letter from Spanky McFarland of Our Gang, signed in fountain pen "Spanky," from c. 1941, on his letterhead. From an estate collection of original autographed star letters, all from 1940-1941, which were autographed by the stars (see other current listings). Because there are so few Spanky autographs from this period, near the end of his time with Our Gang, to compare it with, I am listing it as secretarial. However, it is very similar to his earlier child signature, but a little less messy, a little more controlled, which makes sense, given that he would have been 12/13 when he signed it. My hunch is that it is his autograph. Comes with the original 5" by 7" photo that was mailed with it. Extremely rare.
