Jean Pierre Aumont (1909-2001). French leading man in such films as The Cross of Lorraine, Assignment in Brittany, and Heartbeat with Ginger Rogers. Being Jewish, he had to flee France during WWII. He joined the Free French army and for his bravery received the Legion d"Honneur and the Croix de Guerre. In 1955, Aumont was dating Grace Kelly at the time she first met Prince Rainier III of Monaco. One of his last acting performances was in a Tale of Two Cities (1989). Vintage 5.5x4.5 tan album sheet signed and inscribed around 1947. Small photo is affixed to left margin. In very good condition. Right margin irregularly cut.
