Begin by viewing my feedback to see that I describe and picture exactly what you will receive. I continue to list items from my collections as well as my father’s that all are one owner and genuine having been purchased or picked up at retail by us.
This matchbook collection consists of over 3000 unique matchbooks spanning the last five decades from all over the United States as well as the world. They are in great shape, most have never been struck with a very small percentage of doubles in the almost 3100 piece collection! My father was an avid traveler as well as living both stateside and abroad and picked up matchbooks at every place he visited throughout the past fifty plus years.
These include standard matchbooks as well as many that are sticks within boxes of all different shapes and sizes. They come from hotels, golf resorts, bars and restaurants, many of which are long closed. The winning bidder will have an incredible set to add to or start a collection or break into smaller sets and resell.
I have chosen to leave all matches intact to allow the winner to choose whether to remove the matches or not for collection purposes. Please view the pictures and ask questions as I chose a few to provide a sample of the full 3000 the winning bidder will receive. Shipping will be by UPS ground and be on me.

6/12 Note: Many have wondered where large pockets of the matches come from. My father lived in Thailand thus there are quite a number from Asia. He also resided in Lake Tahoe,Nevada/California, the Florida Panhandle, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina over the years. He loved to golf thus so many countries are represented as he spent his life visiting some of the world's most iconic golf resorts.
