    Description

This is a brand-new mint condition poster showing an historic 1876 Texas & Pacific Railway map of the state of Texas, in color, titled "A Geographically Correct Map of the State of Texas".  It is highly detailed, showing each county in differing colors, the routes of the completed railroad tracks, stations (and distances between them in the text at left), prices and terms of sale of Texas and Pacific Railway lands, fares, wages in Texas, prices of produce, and more, with the bordering Indian Territory to the north, before Oklahoma became a state.  There is some damage to the original map from which this poster was made, at the top left and lower right edge, and bottom center, affecting on a few of the words in the text and showing character.  It is a unique subject for your frame. It measures approximately 24 inches x 32 inches overall, including small edge borders.  It is professionally produced in the USA using the highest-quality equipment and materials including 11 different pigment inks, on satin lustre-finish poster paper, which results in an absolutely stunning piece. Shipping is free via USPS First Class Mail to a US address. Thank you for shopping FreshVintagePosters!
